MIND YOUR LANGUAGE IS A BRITISH SITCOM CREATED BY VINCE POWELL AND PRODUCED/DIRECTED BY STUART ALLEN THAT FIRST AIRED IN 1977. THE SERIES SHOWS PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES WITH DIFFERENT SOCIAL BACKGROUNDS, RELIGIONS, AND LANGUAGES EXISTING IN MR. BROWN'S CLASS, LEARNING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE. THE SERIES REFLECTS THE ACCENTS OF MANY COUNTRIES AND THE CHALLENGES OF LEARNING ENGLISH, AND BRINGS A LOT OF LAUGHTER TO THE AUDIENCE. |

Vince Powell (6 August 1928 – 13 July 2009) was a British television scriptwriter. He was the creator of Mind Your Language and wrote scripts for every episode. He also wrote scripts for Here's Harry, Love Thy Neighbour, and several other TV series.
